"Grand Duchess Tatiana was an enchanting and outgoing girl, the second born daughter of Nicholas and Alexandra. She was kind, intelligent, elegant-her mother's favorite, and always put people at ease in her presence. But unfortunately, her life was cut short. During the War, she became a dedicated nurse, and worked feverishly to help wounded, maimed and dying soldiers. Her winning spirit and kind nature made her a favorite amongst the officers and family.
